New Student Registration
Policy Regarding Kindergarten (effective as of the 2009-2010 school year):
To enter kindergarten in the state of North Carolina, a child must have reached his/her fifth birthday by August 31 of the school year in which he/she is presented for enrollment.
Crossroads offers a completely online enrollment process for new students for the 2017-18 school year:
Admissions Online (start here):
Note: You will be prompted to pay a non-refundable $25 online application fee for this process.
Once the online admissions process is complete, the CCS Enrollment Coordinator will call to schedule an interview. At least one parent must attend this meeting with the student. The student must have the following documents with him/her in order to interview:
- Birth certificate
- Social security card
- Medical insurance card
- Grade transcripts from all previous schools
- Discipline records from all previous schools
- Attendance records from all previous schools
- Current IEP, 504 Plan, and educational and psychological evaluation (if applicable)
- Custody documentation (if applicable)
- All standardized testing (Stanford, TerraNova, EOG, etc.)
- Teacher/Administrator Recommendation form (part of the online application; applicant will need an email address of a core class teacher in order to have this form sent to him/her)
Once accepted, the parent/guardian will be instructed by our staff on how to proceed to the Online Enrollment, during which the $250 non-refundable registration fee will be paid. By July 1, the student must have a completed Student Medical Information – Part B (Physician’s Form) on file in the office. If the July 1 deadline cannot be met due to insurance requirements or acceptance after July 1, please contact the Enrollment Coordinator at (252) 431-1333.
Please note: Failure to disclose the requested information may result
in the non-acceptance or dismissal from Crossroads Christian School.
