Annual Book Fairs (Fall and Spring)

The CCS Library enjoys hosting the annual Scholastic Book Sales. The fall theme for 2019 was Arctic Adventure. We enjoyed many new books the fair had to offer. We also had class contests and fun surprises throughout the week celebration. We achieved our fundraiser goal of $3,000 in book sales, allowing us to purchase some new exciting books for our library.

We will host another Scholastic Book fundraiser again March 16-20, 2020.

Poinsettia Sales

Students and staff at CCS enjoy our annual Christmas Poinsettia Fundraisers in December; this year was our 3rd sale, and we sold over 150 poinsettia plants to our families and neighbors and made beautiful gifts for our friends and family.  Classes compete in sales for a prize. This fundraiser is a major source of funding for our library.

Lower School – Library Specials

During the Library Specials each week, students are introduced to a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books that encourage their enjoyment of reading. Students look forward to checking out books with new adventures each week. They anticipate each season and holiday with a sense of excitement, with seasonal books at Christmas and throughout the year.

Students also have fun with STEM activities in the library.
