MAP Growth
Grades K-1
CCS administers NWEA’s Reading Fluency test in September, February, and April. This online test measures oral reading fluency, comprehension, and foundational reading skills.
Grades 2-8
CCS administers NWEA’s MAP Growth math, reading, and language tests in September, February, and April. These computer adaptive tests provide a unique test for each student. Teachers receive data immediately after each test and can adjust lessons to meet the needs of the individual and/or class. Soon after testing, parents receive reports that provide them with data that shows growth over time in addition to comparisons of class and national percentiles.
