Crossroads provides a high school curriculum that follows the college preparatory track that is in place in all North Carolina public schools. This track exceeds the minimum admission requirements (MAR) of the 17 UNC-system institutions (including colleges such as ECU, UNC-Ch, NCSU, ASU, etc.). As for our students’ responsibilities for getting into the college of their choice, they must earn a competitive GPA, participate in extracurricular activities, score competitively on their college entrance tests (SAT, ACT), and work to make themselves stand out to college admissions officers. Crossroads gives them these opportunities, if they choose to take them.

Students at CCS attend Bible classes on a daily basis.  Age-appropriate concepts emphasize both Bible knowledge and personal application, along with Scripture memorization.  In addition, biblical integration is woven through the curriculum as teachers challenge students to evaluate academic concepts based on God’s Word.

CCS has a full-service cafeteria that also serves as an auditorium for events – the “cafetorium.”  Lunch is served Monday – Wednesday. Thursdays and Fridays, students have the option of ordering Chick-fil-A and Jersey Mike’s. For more information about our school cafeteria, go to our Cafeteria web pae

To respect the views of all parents, we make every effort to avoid controversial topics and images. Since some of our parents take exception to Halloween, Santa Claus, elves, and the Easter Bunny, we will not focus on these ideas in our classroom. All holiday activities and parties must be pre-approved by the headmaster.  CCS does not acknowledge any significance related to October 31.

The US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) requires all schools to inspect building materials for the presence of asbestos. AHERA excludes schools from the inspection requirement if the school was constructed after October 12, 1988, and has a signed statement from the architect or project engineer responsible for constructing the school stating that no asbestos-containing building materials were specified for use in the construction of the school.  Our school has been provided such a statement, and is, therefore, exempt from the requirement to conduct an asbestos inspection.  Copy of the EPA – AHERA Asbestos Notification for 2024-25.
