2025 Summer Reading

Educators consider summer reading very important for developing life-long reading habits, for maintaining literacy skills, and for promoting reading for pleasure. Studies show that children who continue to read during the summer months perform better when school resumes in the fall.

1st-4th Grades: Summer reading assignments at CCS are OPTIONAL for grade levels 1st – 4th. Summer reading logs are due on the first day of school to the teacher.
