CCS House System

House shirts are available to purchase through Friday, August 29. Every Thursday is a House day, and students are encouraged to wear their shirts to show House spirit and unity within their Houses. Students receive points for wearing their shirts on Thursday. Thank you for your support of the House system! Please note that orders must be submitted according to their respective House.

Use the 2025-26 Order Form to place your order (pictures of the shirts are on the form). Make sure you’ve circled the shirt design you want! The order forms were emailed to middle school and high school families.

If you have questions about the shirt orders, contact Dina Martin at dmartin@ccscolts.org.

A bit of history…

During Spiritual Emphasis Week in September of the 2021-22 school year, upper school students were introduced to the new CCS House System. In this system, there are four houses with each house representing one of the four areas of our lives with which we are to love God.

The four houses are

  • Corazon (Heart) – Red
  • Nephesh (Soul) – Purple
  • Akili (Mind) – Green
  • Dunamis (Strength) – Blue

During Spiritual Emphasis Week at the beginning of the school year, upper school students are divided into the houses through a random selection. Students are encouraged to show spiritual maturity, fruits of the spirit, excellence in academics and athletics, service to others, school spirit, and many more attributes. As they demonstrate these attributes and grow in them throughout the year, they earned points for their houses. The house with the most points at the end of the year earns a banquet in their honor.

As the student population has grown, the Houses each now have two divisions for middle school (junior) and high school (senior).
