19th Homecoming – January 19, 2024
Spirit Week is January 16 – 19:
- Tuesday: The Big Apple – teachers dress as students/students dress as teachers
- Wednesday: City So Nice, They Named It Twice – rhyme without reason day – dress as a combination of two things that rhyme but are not related! Examples: Cinderella/Umbrella, Butterfly/FBI, Fairy/Dairy. Consider partnering with a friend!
- Thursday: The City That Never Sleeps – Pajama Pants Day! – Loose-fitting Pants ONLY! Dress code still applies to the rest of your outfit!
- Friday: Spirit Day – wear your school colors!
18th Homecoming – January 13, 2023
Spirit Week is January 9-13. Dress-up days are these:
- Monday, Jan. 9: Beach Bum vs. Tacky Tourist (No women’s swimsuits, no wetsuits, no spandex/lycra)
- Tuesday, Jan. 10: Nursery vs. Nursing Home (No diapers. Must wear shirts.)
- Wednesday, Jan. 11: Dive Through the Decades
- Thursday, Jan. 12: Under the Sea (Dress up as your favorite sea creature!)
- Friday, Jan. 13: Spirit Day (Show your school colors!)
Our 2023 Homecoming King and Queen will be elected by the upper school body from the six seniors below. Ninth through eleventh grade representatives were elected by their classmates to be in the court.

The Homecoming Committee held elections for our 12th Homecoming Court in December. The following list of students were elected by their fellow classmen to represent their classes on the court:

The theme for this year is an “under the sea” style: “It’s a Shellabration!”
Spirit Week is January 17-20 (Jan. 16 is a school holiday.) The Homecoming King and Queen crowning ceremony will take place after the varsity boys’ basketball game on Friday, January 20, in the school cafetorium.

- Tuesday – Character Day (dress up as your favorite Bible character, super hero, princess or Disney character)
- Wednesday – College Team Spirit Day
- Thursday – Throwback Thursday (dress from any decade)
- Friday – Colts Spirit Day – School Colors Day (The school colors are blue, green and white.)
After-Party for 6th -12th grades after crowning ceremony:
- Pizza and ice cream
- Joust
- Open gym
- Dodge ball Tournament

- $10 per person (CCS students only)

CCS Celebrates Its 8th Homecoming – February 1, 2013
Poster: Cirque de Poulains Spirit Week Days | 2013 Homecoming Court | How to Earn Spirit Points
This year’s Homecoming theme is Cirque de Poulains and will take place the week of February 1, 2013. There will a middle school game and after-party on Thursday, and the high school game and after-party on Friday. There are prizes for the classes with 100% participation all week, the best school spirit banner and best school spirit bulletin board.
- Monday, Jan. 28 – Tacky Day (tacky or mismatched clothes)
- Tuesday, Jan. 29 – Circus Animal Day (dress up as your favorite circus animal)
- Wednesday, Jan. 30 – Twin Day (find a partner in your class and dress alike)
- Thursday, Jan. 31 – Circus Act or Circus Food (dress up as your favorite circus act or favorite circus food)
- Friday, Feb. 1 – Colts Spirit Day – School Colors Day
Modest dress will be enforced. Please refer to the dress code in the school handbook.
You may want to look at DAV or Goodwill Stores for costumes. After Halloween weekend many costumes, face paint, and hair spray may be on sale.
